Dragged from their local Sevens league by a professionally sneaky goblin, Nazgob, the Altstadt Sevens are destined to achieve glory. At least, according to their coach, inveterate liar and goblin, Nazgob.

Hot off the back of their mixed successes in the local league, the Witch Bowl, the Sevens recently made their way to the Scrumpy Cup. With a 3-1-2 record, the only human team of the tournament finished eighth out of twenty teams. Nazgob also won 'Best Rookie' and a black T-Shirt.

Head Coach Nazgob had this to say;

"We wuz up against it from da start. Blatant specieism from da tournament organisers was evident throughout - those halflings had unfair advantages over us. And Block'n'Roll had caught flu before the day before da tournament began, so he wuz out of it. [editor's note: Nazgob cut the Ogre infavour of Helmut Wulf in the run up to the tournament.]

We 'ad a good run on the first day. An early win against a Necromatic team and the slaughter of some Pro Elves saw us against Lycos on the top table. Needless to say, his Skaven gave us a thorough drubbing.

The second day opened with a lucky escape against Blocknroll's Dwarf team, and we scraped a one all draw. In the second game of the day, da blitzers had a field day, surfing seven undead players and KOing a mummy as Chris Keppler, oo wuz in a bit of a frenzy, tried to surf him too. The last game of the weekend was a bit of a loss though. Da opposing coach Lunch Money was a nice chap, and he distracted me with his banter while his team took da Sevens apart.

My MVP goes to Helmut Wulf though. He 'ad a couple of bad games where da dirty rotten sneaks took him out early. 'owever, we knew from da first game dat he wuz worth da money. His first block of the tournament killed a werewolf dead. Took 'iz 'ead clean off."
