Two weeks ago there were chants calling for the end of coach Spelledaren and that a new management for Vikings was needed. These protests have since ended, especially after the news came in about the second mid season deal, one that brought another warrior from KFC over to SHC. It was another player outside the trade lists that was sought out and brought home, and another one with fierce strength and blocking skills. B.J. Dubose, formerly of 49ers, makes this new plan come into light even more, one that seems to focus on out-muscling the opponents rather than dancing around them.
The confusion was also great last week when word first came that Spelledaren had acquired the original number 1 - C.J. Mosley. In this deal one of the most important players of the awesome season 7 run was sent off, Alvin Dupree. Then in a stunning move Mosley was traded on, as part of the exchange for said Dubose.
The protesters seemed to have lost steam because of these unusual and sudden movements within their favourite team. Who is even left from the team that took home 24 points last season?
Only 4 active players played season 7, yes only 4! This team is completely new, other than two catchers, one-turning Fuller and injured Webster, along with ogre Kouandijo and team captain Stipe Lipican.
How will the team come together after all these changes? Monday night will tell, when division rivals Cascade meet them on the field of battle. We are all looking forward to what may come!

First game complete: victory, but also some losses.
