This is the first time i've really had a rant about something. In general, i've found FUMBBL to be a great laugh, some good people that i've played against which has made the experience fun and enjoyable as i learn my way through the ranks.

However, i have had one bad experience. Surprisingly this was within the acadamy system.

I played a game, the user shall remain nameless. I am very inexperienced and it turned out that he was very experienced (he had a few ranked teams with big rankings).

His team with halflings and treemen had a high acadamy rating and the match was played in really good spirit BUT
my acadamy team lost 4 players to death and 3 to injury (miss next game). A harsh lesson i admit but surely one that should not be given in the acadamy. However one bright spot was that i scored a touchdown with 4 men and kept the score down to a 3-1 loss.

Will experienced players stop picking on easy new meat in the acadamy. You will only succeed in driving players away.

Do what you like in ranked, but the acadamy is there for players to learn and unless you want to do a training match or help with their defence and tactics, then stop it. Its not big, its not clever and its not funny.
