GAME 6 Mons Raiders vs Sons of Itzamna

Game 6 was a challenge from Teplukhin, his Lizardmen team vs my new Goblin team making their debuts.

Although he only had 8 men, 5 of those were Saurus which makes it very difficult to win against.

My two trolls helped though, both Titus and Atlas scored a casualty each with Atlas seriously injuring one of his Saurus.

After a scoreless first half, the Gobbos managed to breakthrough midway through the second with their Warchief scoring with the protection of 5 of his buddies. That is the way the game ended. 1-0 to the gobbos on their debut.

My defence was tighter and although he did progress a couple of times with Skinks, i had players back to defend.

A 1-0 win against a team with reduced players seems hollow but i suspect he was using it as a recovery game.


GAME 7 - Spice Tarts vs Living End

A game against my buddy Randompuppet's Nurgles Rotters team.

This had the potential to be a bloodbath. I have set about trying to make the Tarts as sturdy as possible before the break through the opponents defence and they held up well to the onslaught of blocks from the Nurgles. Marydoll Spice spent more time on the floor than standing.

The Tarts didn't play their slick passing style, they roughed it against the Nurgles and Heidless Spice's 11 blocks were invaluable. This game was won when the Tarts broke through with support and the rushing game and dodging skills of Junkie Spice and Dodgy Spice earned each of them a touchdown. 2-0 to the Tarts.
