And I'd build one turners to fight back, but I'm a rubbish coach and have problems keep'n the little guys alive long enough to make'em. I don't dislike one-turners as much as I admire your skill in their care and feeding. They go very, very quickly from 'potential one turner' to 'greasy furry meat smear' in my hands.

Stand Firm, Diving Tackle, Side Step, Disturbing Presence, Kick, Pass Block

I don't mind a one turn. Well, i do, but no where to the extent that i despise natural one turners.

I see no reason not to set the max move, by any means as 10. Indeed the max anything. So no natural one turns, no 3 dice vs str5 and bigger.

You could still one turn, and it doesnt harm TTM TD's at all, but at least you'd have to do some of that tetris pushy crap.

I agree fully that there shouldn't be any natural one turners. Don't really know why they didn't fix that in BB16. "Players who have MA 10 cannot use the Sprint skill." Easy enough.

Damn, I kinda like the one turn TD'ers.. Just coz you successfully smash a team into the dirt doesn't / shouldn't mean you automatically win.. i mean the aim of the game is to score more touchdowns than your opponent.. the choice or race and players is at the coaches discretion.

Think Id like the game less if they changed Skaven's GR's or Woodie's catchers :/

Not that I one turn alot but I have done it and it is fun to do, and on the flip side its fun fear to have, so target the damn thing and get it in the dugout one way or the other !

Right, so if you see a natural 1 turner on the other side, expect that miracle. If a team continues to do the 2:1 grind against such opponent, then maybe should do something else, and score earlier? Any try to get as many tries at winning a defensive TD as possible? Or just kill as much as possible.
Not having the players for quick score? It is the race / build problem. Should have invested into that too, not just into smash-mouth skills.

Just like to point out this was not a 2-1 grind, Necros were 0-1 down at half time. Managed a turnover to get the 2nd score so were feeling lucky at that point. The first OTTD was outrageous but the 2nd one could have been covered better.
The big thing to take from this as already mentioned is never give up!

I think 'cry about it' is a little pejorative.
The game had always evolved.
We all have an aspect we think of as the worst thing in BB.
Yet we still play.
Surely we are free to voice that opinion? And maybe to conjecture what we would change?

With any such change there would of course be balance issues. Can we not just assume an adult adn experienced environment where people do realise that?

How many games do the Castrators get outside of competition? If not for the Championship Swiss it would have been lean pickings this year I think.

If people don't want to play then they won't. The general trend in terms of the number of games on Fumbbl is downwards. There has been a boost (I assume) due to the Box Trophy. But that will probably wear off by January.
A big part of the boost is because people start with brand new teams and it takes a while for teams to become "silly".

OTS? CPOMB? Whatever.

Good luck getting more games before the January Swiss. Maybe even a Title challenge.

yes or make it so that so much of your budget is in holding them that you are genuinely short elsewhere.

But one turners arnt as big an issue in league. To use the OP when Azure rats dominated WIL with their one turning, everyone just kicked them to hell for a season and he had to rebuild. All very fair, balanced and part of the cycle. But for one off games or streaks in tourneys, natural one turners are anti fun. To me.

OTS feels like being robbed, but while you try to nerf it, real pain cause (damage skill stack) would continue...while blodgestep and coach skill quietly wins titles. :-p

Ha lol, and since you mention it, koadah: Yes, my team doesnt get many games in, and I dont even have a oneturner! :-p Its also proven that this SL team suffers against hypno-spam (a general thing in SL it seems), claw spam (def. A SL thing) and high ag teams overall. BUT what do people do after losing (and in some cases before trying): demand roster changes. :-p
