Trends
Anyone ever have a run of games where the same thing keeps happening over and over? I'm in one at the moment with my new trophy squad. I had a brief run of 2d skulling a block early in the turn and having to rr it or lose all position, only to then fail to pick the ball up anyway. That probably lasted five matches ish. The ball thing then happily ended, however the needing to rr a skulls on my first turn receiving hasn't. Without leaping to exaggeration (it happened in every damn game, every turn, for example) I would say it must have happened maybe seven times in fourteen matches. I don't think it's actually ever rr into another skulls - the effect is more subtle as I end up wondering where all my rr went by turn four. These aren't leavable skulls as the last couple of actions either - they are generally first or second block (and action bar movement). So what are your trends and why is nuffle such an absolute *&(*^*&^*&^?

As a side note, I have a trend where if I fail a gfi, I then rr it into another one about 50% of the time, which has currently lasted 7999 games. Working this out made me realise game 8000 is next up. Happy bloodbowling.

Same here.
I'd say it started 2 weeks ago.
An endless loop of "Nuffle says NO to GFIs."

I also do feel it comes in waves/trends, but I guess it's really just a feeling due to the several cognitive biases that come into play in a dice game, such as the confirmation bias and the negativity bias, amongst others. But I can definitely relate.

Well spotted.
Next step: find a casino, identify trends in roulette and get real rich!

I had a run of at least 5 tabletop games with my Necro (grr, I hate the physical RNG, it's clearly broken) where I'd receive on the first drive in pouring rain, quad skull on the first block of the first turn, and invariably on the opponent's drive it would change to nice weather (usually with a touchback as an added bonus).

Then again, I played some poor dark elf coach here who did two double skulls and a triple skull in his first turn, and all I did for the rest of the half was wait for him to roll a 1 and take the ball away...
