As Bowl Season begins for the NCBB, Universidad Azteca is left on the outside looking in after a rough final two matches. Despite only losing two of ten matches across the season, a 1-2 Shocking Loss to Hampton and a Tough Fought 2-2 Tie against Rival U of Teeth has left Azteca with a Season 45 final record of 3-5-2, just barely missing the mark for attending a Bowl Game. Their only saving grace being that the Rivalry Tie also robbed U of Teeth of a Bowl appearance as well.

Bertha has always been a crucial member of the Azteca roster since the program's beginning, but her achievements have always been overshadowed by fellow Jaguar Warrior, #2 Albucilla Gondel. Despite both starting the same number of games and both being called MVPs for four games each, Bertha has only achieved 11 Casualties while Gondel has notched 15. The only other difference being that Bertha managed to score a Defensive Touchdown in the early mentioned Tie against UofT, meanwhile Gondel has yet to score.

When asked about her success compared to Gondel, Bertha responded, "She fights harder and I fight better, end of story. That's why she thinks staying with Azteca for another season is a good idea, but my dreams are bigger. Just keep your eyes on that NBFL draft and you'll see me getting picked First Round!"

The third surviving Junior for Azteca's Program, Edaece has been a quiet star before her gruesome injury against Hampton. Before that, she played a pivotal role in Azteca's schemes on both Offense and Defense and led the way for a series of players always willing to strip the ball from opposing players.

But it seems injuries have finally caught up with her. Beginning earlier in Season 45, Edaece went down on the first turn of a 2-1 Victory over Drexel, when #3 Skorri Patrekrs blitzed her and broke her arm. Edaece would take a game to recover before being right back at it with the team. But during the earlier mentioned loss to Hampton, she was blitzed by #2 Kritch Emberwalker in the middle of the Second Half, with the rat dislocating the same arm she had broken earlier in the season.

Now in a recovery brace, seen in her graduation photo, Edaece stating in an interview, "I love playing Blood Bowl, and part of the game is taking hits from players twice your size and Rat with f***ing horns on their heads. Right now my focus is on recovery, and hopefully someone in the NBFL will take a chance on this battered gal looking to become their next safety!"
