It's time for a midseason look at bronze, since nearly all of them have completed 4 games now. In cuprum league, orbis necra are looking strong with 2 blodge ghouls and 2 mummies with spps for guard, or 1/2 way to block. Razmus has added some janky randoms to his otherwise optimized chaos, bringing his team more in line with the rest of the league. Lancelott's Co-Ed's lost a blitzer, but with no spp loss and ample funds to replace, it's not a huge loss. PoohBreezy's Diestros are starting to develop. Overall a very low scoring division for this middle portion of the season, lots of ties. No clear winners and losers from just these two games.
Albertaking's 101 gobbos have picked up some useful randoms and actually built a fantastically lucky looney with sure feet and jump up. Goblins are goblins; the low scoring games helps them comparatively. Hard to win consistently with, but never count out gobbos. Every game is a new opportunity for wanton slaughter and shenanigans. Likewise, although Ajaxtheriot hasn't found their stride with the Gunk Gambits, the addition of a cheap sneaky git is the chef's kiss that might get them over the hill. 3 games left to shine - can they unlock the power of snots? Only Nuffle knows, praise his ornery name!

in stannuum league, in a move that would surely earn the support of @TheRedoubt (Karag Dum) , richiemccaw is ripping it up with nurgle. With several developing pestigors, a block warrior, and guard on the beast, he's built a solid foundation and I could really see a deep run this sesason. Next up is CD, then dwarves, and I think nurgle tend to fare quite fine in a slower, grindier game. I never would have predicted it, but it's currently happening.

Albertaking: My money is on those Gobbo's!

Oryx: Whoops! (travels back in time)

in just 4 games xelron has managed to get block on both bulls, which I find impressive, and also has a solid hobgoblin support squad. At 3/1/0, Xelron is tied with richiemccaw for absolute butt kicking. This next game is going to be a zinger! Coach buck and his Elder Beards are nipping at their heels and have all the essentials of a good team with 1 block runner, 1 mighty blow slayer, and 1 guard longbeard. All the ingredients - but enough to make a good soup? Time will tell. Dwarves are generally good at low TV and coach buck has proven himself to be a danger. This isn't over yet! Russcastronovo is on a staggeringly mediocre record of 0/3/1, and the team is pretty beat up. But beat up elves are better, because they get wizards, and wizards win gaems right? Right? Well, 0/3/1 isn't the strongest position to fight from but with a couple of wins it could easily lead to promotion. With leader brining rerolls to three and a blodge catcher, many woundrous things are possible, and russcastronovo is a very skilled player.

Nippon Nightrunners and Elven Tree Friends are both struggling this season. Nightrunners are starting to develop some good fundamentals, but the loss of their blitzer combined with low average money hasn't been kind. They play coach buck, then russcastronovo, then xelron's Dispoilers so not the easiest end of season. This might be a building season XD

Wood elves have wardancers, so they're never really out of consideration. Quix's first choice of strip ball will be very useful in this next game against the High Hats, but both nippon and elder beards after them have sure hands block carriers. Still, one never knows what will happen with wood elves who start the game with healthy wardancers.

In aeris, TheRedoubt is doing predictably well with his karag dum doomkillers. 12 players, kick, a dodge elf, and a block rat is a decent lineup. Looks like the rat ogre is saving for block, which seems like a good call. I have no doubt they'll continue to do well. Abidou's Brutez have had a harrowing start to their blood bowl journey, but block on a black orc and sneaky git on a goblin is a good start and surely it has to get better from here. Ahem.

Hogtown are the queens of the tie this season, and promotion is definitely within reach, given a few victories. Kick is a favorite of mine, and a blodge tackle with several blodgers is a reasonable start to the team. They generally should be advantaged in their next three matchups - snots, chaos, and renegades - but theredoubt is on a hot streak, snots are unpredictable, and chewblocka is a relative unknown in this league, so anything could happen.

Reign's Cadaverage is slim but strong, with a guard mummy, a mighty blow wight, a block zombie, and a blodge ghoul. At 106k with 3 rr, this team packs a serious punch for their relatively low TV. 0/2/1 isn't a great record, but it's within striking distance of the top, if a winstreak is blazed. Chewblocka's Thugs are randomly developing as a baller team, with 2 psuedostat beastmen. Not the worst but.... block, anyone? For the luls, I love it. Tough start though!

Finally, mrgoboom has about what you'd expect for a snotling team with the addition of a lucky random blodge snot, which is absolute gold on this sort of team. Amazons and undead should both be fairly challenging, but I think mrgoboom probably has an easy game against chaos in week 8. Mrgoboom clearly hasn't found his stride (or luck?) yet, but there still half a season left.

Well, that wraps up the midseason bronze analysis!
