“"If I have any explanation why I was voted MVP even though I got knocked out late in the first half and missed more than half the game? Well... losing me made all the rest of our boys play even harder to compensate ... and they valued me so highly that they overcompensated. They played a perfect game after I was out. Is that okay for a made up, totally unbelievable reason?

"As far as first games are concerned, this one was as good as it gets. A bloodied orc nose that had to be patched together by the greenskinned apothecary... We won and I didn't die. What more can I ask for?"

"About that fumble on Jing Jings pass... it wasn't his fault this time. I know you'll find it hard to believe. I failed to catch the ball. Jing Jing and I, we don't seem to mesh well yet. A few hours of extra practice are in order there. In any case, fortunately Tai Shan was right there to catch the ball and hand it off to me. He's new and I'm already glad we have him."

"What a rush. What a heck of a great game. On days like today you know why you chose to become a Bloodbowl player and you marvel at every second you are allowed to spent on the pitch. When Ei Mei handed me the ball, I ran faster than I have ever run before. If you saw how perfectly my mates worked to allow me the chance to break free, you know I could not have let them down. This was possibly our best game yet, perhaps even better than the game against Bastet we won 2-1. But, who knows, we're scheduled to face the Amazons next and who's to say we won't improve on our good form and even outdo ourselves in the next game."

“Well played, and filled with many frustrating successful dodges on the part of the Pandas. Just when I think I have all their players secured and room to run, they sidle away from my Orcs and move into defensive positions and thwarting my attempts to move the ball.
These Pandas are having a heck of a comeback after being beat to hell in early matches this season. This game should be a warning to the rest of the teams the Pandas will be facing--The Fighting Pandas are back, they are picking up speed and they are only getting stronger!”
