Oly1987 Head Coach Seasons 1-5 The first ever Head Coach of the then Monte Castello Wreckers. Oly began the Wreckers as a force to be reckoned with, finishing with a winning record for four of his five complete seasons coaching the Wreckers, including three playoff runs. Oly finished with a record of 36-16-21 during his time as head coach. Jerrey Riggs Blitzer Seasons 5-11 The most skilled blocking player to have ever worn a Wreckers jersey. Riggs was a killing machine initially signed by the Los Cabos Marauders late in Season 5 before Oly traded to bring Riggs to Monte Castello. For the next six season, Riggs became a menace in the SHC South, collecting 88 Casualties and 8 Kills as a Wrecker, both are Franchise records, as well as playing in 97 games (3rd Most) and being selected to the DLE Pro Bowl twice in that time (Tied for 2nd most), before meeting his ultimate end in a brutal week 16 loss to the Rangers at the end of Season 11. Jadeveon Clowney Blitzer Seasons 1-9 One of the first true Star Players for the Wreckers. Clowney initially joined the Wreckers at the 13th overall selection of the first ever DLE Draft. He then spent an impressive 8 seasons whole playing as a Wrecker, providing support to his teammates for that entire time. And the league didn’t ignore his talents either as Clowney was selected to 4 total Pro Bowls, the most of any Wrecker, and racking up 116 games played only three games behind the Franchise leader before being killed in the Season 9 Week 3 matchup versus the Flashfurt Universe. Justin Brown Catcher Seasons 5-12 One of the most efficient scoring players in Wreckers history. Being a second round selection in the DLE Season 5 Draft, Brown would slowly become the Wreckers’ go to player when looking for a score. Brown is tied for third most Match MVP awards and is also tied for the most Touchdowns as a Wrecker. And perhaps he would have the uncontested Franchise record if he wasn’t killed in Week 9 of Season 12. Divisional Rivals Irrana Avalanche We are currently 8-6-11 versus the Avalanche. The Avs have always been a team that has been competitive with the Wreckers. While in early seasons we dominated them, as we approached Season 10, the record evened out before the Avs pulled ahead because of the turbulence the Wreckers received in recent seasons due to constant coach turnover. Dead Avs: Broekwater Bruisers We are currently 9-5-13 versus the Bruisers. In the early seasons, the Bruisers simply could not defeat the Wreckers. In fact until KnutOlavaine took over the team as a fresh coach, the Bruiser never had a win over the Wreckers. However, after the Chaos that ensued in the Wreckers' front office after Knut left, the Bruisers managed to even out the record and pull slightly ahead. Dead Bruisers: Brionnian Buccaneers We are currently 10-7-11 versus the Buccaneers. Put bluntly, the early Wreckers struggled against the powerful Buccaneers. But as the years went on, we managed to crawl back to a less lopsided record versus those damned pirates. Dead Buccaneers: That Should Have Been Our SuperBowl! Erngrad Vikings We are currently 1-1-4 versus the Vikings. Season Ten was supposed to be Knut's push for the SuperBowl. After a dominant season where they won the SHC South, dispatched the wild card White Wolves, and fought off the Marauders in an underdog match, Knut's season was ultimately cut short by the Vikings. The first time the Wreckers had the chance to attend the Superb Owl, only to be snuffed out. And the fans never forgot that. Dead Vikings: The Early Days The Wreckers began as one of the Founding Franchises of Draft League Europe (DLE) in the league's Inaugural Season as the Monte Castello Wreckers, coached by Oly1987. They completed that season with a respectable record of 5 wins, one ties and 2 loses, good enough for Third in the Sigmar Heldenhammer Conference (SHC), but ultimately ended up missing the playoffs. In the second season of the DLE, the Wreckers were assigned the the SHC’s South Division, alongside the Avalanche, Buccaneers, and Bruisers. The competition proved to be just right for the Wreckers who improved to a record of 6-3-4, good enough for second place in the division and a Wild Card spot in the playoffs where they would be defeated by the SHC South Champions, the Buccaneers. The third season sees the Wreckers improve once more to a 9-4-3 record, putting them in second once more, again advancing to the playoffs on a Wild Card spot. This time they win their Wild Card matchup before succumbing to the Legion in the division round. Season Four sees them finish 11-3-2 and for the first time winning the SHC South. Their efforts provided them with a First Round Bye, but the team was once again dispatched in the Divisional Round, this time to the Greenskins. The Drought Entering Season Five, the Wreckers had a lot of steam behind them with their success in the previous seasons. And despite a respectable start, the team ultimately fell to 2-5-9 and missed the playoffs entirely. In addition, Founding coach Oly1987 left the team due to unknown reasons, leaving newcomer KnutOlavaines to take over the team. Over the next four seasons, KnutOlavaines worked their hardest to make the Wreckers succeed but failed to reach the playoffs for four seasons in a row. The hardest loss came in Season Eight where KnutOlavaines led the Monte Castello Wreckers to a strong 9-5-9 finish but only coming third in the SHC South due to the other stronger seasons the Buccaneers and Avalanche had. Entering Season Ten, KnutOlavaines seems to lead the Wreckers to another lackluster season. However, they instead put together a respectable 4-8-3 record, riding their ties to win the SHC South Division for the second time in the team’s history. KnutOlavaines would then lead the Wreckers to 2-1 victories over the White Wolves in the Wild Card round and the Marauders in the Divisional round to bring the Wreckers to their first SHC Championship game. Sadly, the Vikings were instead victorious 3-1. The Chaos After Season 10, KnutOlavaines rode off into the sunset and left the Wreckers to another fledgling DLE coach, Tesifonte. Like their predecessor, Tesifonte struggled in their first season and finished Season Eleven with a 5-2-9 record, taking 4th in the SHC South. Entering Season Twelve, no fan could foresee the chaos about to unfold for the Wreckers. Partially through the team’s twelfth campaign, Tesifonte would leave the Wreckers, having Chris22a take over as the Wreckers suffered to a horrid 3-3-11 finish. Season Thirteen appeared to be more chaotic as the Monte Castello Wreckers once again changed coaches, and for the first time changed cities, as Coach Sharkrudi took over and moved the team to Nörden. Now armed with the high value draft picks of the previous two years of chaos and a new fanbase, Sharkrudi seemed hellbent on taking the Nörden Wreckers to their first championship title. The Wreckers fought all the way to Week 15, where a tough loss to the Marauders dropped the Wreckers to a 8-5-2 record and 21 pts. The loss put them tied with the Avalanche for the lead of the SHC South but Sharkrudi, who had planned to step down at the end of the season, immediately decided to leave the team to aspiring coach Rodger Valiant. Rodger Valiant took over the team after Week 15, moving the team again to Reikland, and vowed to bring the chaos the Wreckers have had to endure to an end. He fought to the end of the season, bringing the team to the 5th seed entering the playoffs with a drive to win.
Current Head Coach Rodger Valiant Taking over the team late into Season 13, Valiant led the Wreckers to an SHC Championship game. Now in Season 14, he seeks to shape the team into winners who can once again compete for the crown.
