<p align="left">Originally The Cursed Nitpickers was not a Blood Bowl team and actually came about as a merger between the health and fitness club "Picknickers In Shape" and the cooking club The Picknickers. The Cooking club had considerably more success than the health and fitness group and so the president of the health club, Billie Merriweather, suggested that the Picknickers should start to play games of Blood Bowl as part of their exercise regime. The games turned out to be great fun and became very popular in no time!

One day while visiting a human village, Willie Meadowpuff happened to see a poster advertising a local Blood Bowl league. Willie immediatly packed up the wares he was peddeling and travelled home to tell his friends about the league. Little did Willie know that joining the leauge would turn out to be a horrible mistake.

Despite the loss of several dear friends The Picknickers continiue to play Blood Bowl, now as The Cursed Picknickers, due to Willie being swindled into signing a contract during The Picknicers very first leauge game. Willie's close friend and second cousin, Rene Cloudskittle, was gravely injured and in order to have, what Willie thought was a licensed apothecary perform emergency surgery, Willie signed what turned out to be a contract that gave a necromancer full legal and magical control of the team. The now Cursed Picknicker's coach have since then pitted The Cursed Picknickers in as many games as possible in order to cash in on the contract.

A band of halflings from the same village as the cursed players on The Cursed Picknickers has set out to raise the gold needed to buy the contract which binds The Cursed Picknickers to their new, evil manager. That team is <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=628912">The Picknickers Hope</a>.</p>
