More than a century ago, when there was no such thing as an official League, a small team assembled around Altdorf to play Blood Bowl. After retirement, they grew resentful. This lead to them going out at age 70 in one last blaze of glory.

But they'd gotten the taste back by then. They wanted more. And more they got, when Robbie pulled himself out of the grave and procured a book on Necromancy. With a cry of "Wake up lads! It's time for the game!" the Society was shaken out of the soil and limbered up for their return to the pitch.
