Legend's League, Season 1 Recruiting
Ever want to play in a stupidly high TV match, in which every player is a seasoned veteran?
Have you ever wondered just how crazy some players could get with even MORE skills after they hit the rank of Legend?
Have you ever wanted to face the challenge of facing a 3000+ TV roster game after game, after game.
If you said yes to any or all, then The Legend's League is the place for you.
Season 1 is looking to start ASAP, and will be running in a Round Robin format, depending on the number of teams.
Games will be played on a weekly basis
Top 4 teams will go into a swiss tournament for the championship.
Oh, and let's not beat around the bush. With any league, there are bound to be custom rules.
*Each game will sport a free card (50,000) for each team
*Each game will further sponsor 150,000 for each team to spend as they see fit on inducements.
*Overtime will happen, but only during playoffs.
*Roster size, Seriously guys, this is NOT the league to min-max in. It's just not happening. Absolute minimum players on a roster is 14 (set by rule set), this allows up to 2 slots for Star Players, though I have a feeling most coaches would prefer a full 16 man roster. You must run at least one player of each position on your roster.
*Spiked Ball will be used in all matches. Our players are the best of the best, so the added threat of Ball! makes for a more exciting game
*Being that all players are Legends, ClawPOMB is being weakened. Claw does NOT stack with other skills to modify AV.
*Right Stuff negates Tackle on blocks
*Sneaky Git will act as guard on foul assists.
*Skill Progression:
Star - 0 SPP (teams will get a click-through match to get players skilled, this will grant each player 4 skills)
Super Star - 6 SPP
Legend - 16 SPP
Legend+ - 51 SPP
Legend++ - 76 SPP
Chosen - 176 SPP
*Retiring of Healthy players is not allowed. Heck, these players are Legends, they deserve a death on the pitch. Exceptions will be made for stat losses on a case by case basis. If you have a player you want considered for retirement, then consult with the league commissioner (me) for a decision.
So, create a team via the league office, apply it for a position in the league (PM me if you feel you must), and join in on the mayhem.

We've played a few test matches and they've all been interesting and close matches so far. 4 skills is enough to get some really intriguing players who still have a lot of progression to look forward to. Have to work on the short-hand for skills though as marking is tough :)
