First BB2020 Official Tournament. 1350TV Minor accepting applications

Any Competitive team with a TV of 1350 or less can apply Here.

Should not that Box, Ranked and League teams are not allowed.


Come join the opening tournament of BB2020. This is only for teams in the new competitive division using BB2020 rules.

This will be as many 16 or 32 team single elimination tournaments as we can draw with minimal byes. Teams will be accepted based on the highest TW at the deadline for applications. If there are more teams with the same TW than places available, the date and time of application will be used to separate the teams.

TW stands for tournament weight and it is listed on your team page. It includes players missing the next game in its calculation.

As this is the first attempt at a BB2020 tournament in the C division there is the chance there are some issues we may have to deal with at the tournaments start.

Question, if the team hits "15 games" and needs to re-buy during the tournament what happens?
do you do it before the next round or are teams "looked" during the tournament?
or do you need to make sure you won't hit the 15 during a tournament?

At the moment, re-drafting isn't implemented on the site, so obviously nothing "happens". You just keep playing.

With re-drafting in place, tournaments are a way to extend your season to beyond 15 games, with a forced re-drafting after it is completed (or you get eliminated).

Excuse me if this is impolite to imply.
But one can bank easily hold hundred spp and keep is team at 1350tv for the first game, then buy like 150 point worth of skills for the next.
Maybe is it expected?

TW does not exist anymore. It is not displayed on the team page anymore either.

TW used to be a teams TV plus their MNG. This is how TV is defined now, as opposed to CTV, which is TV minus your MNG.

As Rawlf mentioned in BB2020 TV is what TW used to be. If your TV (CTV+MNG) is over 1350 your team will not be included.

In addition this is only for teams in the C division. Box, Ranked and League teams will all be kicked.

Will the ranked and box teams eventually be converted to C. I really don't want to delete all my teams and start over. My ranked teams are my competitive teams...I want to keep playing them. :-(
