Alcohol withdrawal could be a possibility, seriously. You're a legendary drinker and I remember going through a bit of hell when I traded the bottle for the bong. Headaches, Bodyaches, Night Sweats, etc etc.
The headache could be attributed to the difference in eye focus and just a manifestation of eye strain.
Good on you for going to the doc, your family will appreciate it.

Definitely see a Doc (or very least optometrist). Far too many things this could be.
Occam's Razor says https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_vision_syndrome is probably the culprit though.

Good luck with the appointment Bill and I hope it's nothing too serious. Sounds like you need to get it checked by a specialist.

Just wait, the fix to the issue will be not looking at any screens for a few weeks... Box will be slightly safer and the minmaxer attempts will breathe easier.

I can play with one eye!
Seriously, headaches are not as bad & vision is a little better. Now things go double around 5 feet.
My appointment is next Tuesday & I think he'll refer me to a neurologist, but I could be wrong.
I didn't put 2 & 2 together, but my wife reminded me that I had a bad nose bleed (and I don't normally get those) before the headaches started. Maybe that means something.
