Please, rate the film. And also rate the previous one (awakening of the force, not the rogue one) so we may know what to expect.
My own rate:
- Rogue one! 6++++
- Awakening of the force 0---- (stupid way to kill Mr. Solo - only acceptable if he is not dead for good)

The thing that stands out about Awakens is just how... unmemorable... it was. The death scene is the only part that really stood out. I remember thinking, "Oh, Harrison Ford finally got his wish to kill off Han Solo." I can't even recall how they blew up the planet? Did Han's corpse set off a reactor chain reaction??
Rogue One? After Force Awakens failed to reawaken my interest, I waited for it to come out on HBO or Netflix and I was so bored I stopped watching somewhere before the end. I was so not invested in the characters I just didn't care how they all died or whatever. I guess Force Toth was a fun concept for a character. Please move the universe forward instead of going backwards in time. There has to be a new story to tell somewhere out there in a galaxy far, far away.
Is this new story memorable, compelling and original? Oh, please tell me it is! If it's just The Fan-Service Strikes Back Redux i'll just wait and catch it playing in the background on a t.v. Christmas Star-Wars marathon in a few years.

I just watched it too. Much better than the Force Awakens. Force awakens was a remake of the original three films all pushed together. This one advanced story lines and was fun to watch.

3/6 for me.
As well as the plots twists everyone is talking about, which were cool, also liked that the tried to introduce some new takes on the Star War universe, like Luke's mature perspective on the Force, and the pleasure planet.
But it's also repetitive, got some proper cheesy lines, and IMO so pretty flimsy plotting. Found it a decent watch, glad I went, but for me nothing too special.
It's no Thor:Ragnarok!

Force Awakens: 6/10
Rogue One : 9/10
Last Jedi: 5/10
Its pretty awful and there is a sequence that wouldnt look out of place in Alvin and the Chipmunks. Or worse, the phantom menace.

one thing is for sure, this is no average movie... I've seldom seen so much different and strong reactions from people that are generally on the nerdier side and mostly like the same things.
I enjoyed it, but am not sure yet how I would rate it. There is a lot happening (it's a long movie with fairly normal pace...no Blade Runner like 5 minute walks through the rain..), some of it awesome, some ok, a few situations where I think the characters acted uncharacteristic stupid. Several plot decisions that are not quite what I would have expected, some side stories not really necessary for the main plot - but still very star warsy.
I don't like to give numbers to things I enjoy, especially if I enjoyed films for different reasons, but I try:
TFA: 8/10
RO: 7,5/10
TLJ: 7-9/10...i might have to watch it again to be clearer (at least I am not bothered by that outlook, so that is a good sign, i guess)

addendum: if you don't like that the old guard slowly steps aside for new faces (not just for plot reasons but also because the actor are getting older) or you don't like that there are now wimen in your power fantasy, this film may not be for you...in fact, I doubt that Star Wars will be in the foreseeable future for you any more

There were some major events that were letdowns. Definitely some good parts but I really felt the long length of the film. Don’t raise up your hopes too much. If you have 10 year old kids or are one you will enjoy it. Otherwise I would say it is so-so. Not as repetitive as the previous film story but still far from original.

It's a film that wouldn't exist and wouldn't make sense without the crooked history of the franchise, but the franchise is what it is, and therefore, I think, they did quite well. I had goosebumps a couple of times. I lol'd a couple of times. And also thought, wow, didn't see this coming, a couple of times. Love Daisy Ridley and Rey's Theme. Love Old Man Luke. Good enough for me.

10/10 for me, only the product placement of furbee looking puffin toys and Chewy not eating the food after he had cooked it didn't sit right with me. Plus one other bit of editing near the end.

Actually we didn't see whether he ate it or not.

I enjoyed it, only had one little nap. Kids loved it.

I didnt like the comedy/ sarcasm aspect of Luke. I liked the movie, apart from Casino world, which wasn't really needed for the plot. Maybe it will lead into the next movie.

Rouge One for me its 8/10
but other both around 4-5 maybe or maybe less

I enjoyed it without thinking it was brilliant. Warning - Spoilers!
On the plus side:
- It felt very Starwarsy and was fun.
- I liked the mini twist involving Poe and the purple haired woman from Jurassic Park.
- I liked some of the more light hearted moments
- I thought Carrie Fisher was okay, which surprise me because I thought she was awful in Awakening.
- I thought they started to build up something vaguely interesting between Rey and Kylo
However
- Too long
- Casino world seemed pointless
- The codebreaker storyline seemed pointless
- The interesting blurring of dark and light seemed to get too easily resolved with Rey, Kylo and Luke all becoming less 'grey' and clearly light or dark.
- Phasma and Snook had no storyline at all, so pointless 'end of level' baddies.
- Luke didn't have any decernable trace of his previous character and the comedy lines were misplaced with him because of his character was not in a jokey place.
I do hope the next film isn't all about a 10 year old boy with a broomstick! That's been done already!

Phantom - 5/10: Jar-jar is awful as is most of Tatooine but Palpatine is great as are the lightsabre fights. Maul is menacing.
AotClones - 4/10: The guy playing Anakin fails to sell it and Dooku is obviously a stop gap. Don't like McGregor's jokey Obi Wan but liked the 'twist' (from the books) that the clones were originally 'goodies'.
RotSith - 4/10: Still didn't like Anakin. I would have liked the whole trilogy to have progressed more quickly so the third film was Vader 'hunting down and killing the last of the Jedi'.
Starwars (ANH) - 8/10: Tattooine is slow but the opening sequence is amazing. Vader, Ben, Solo and Leia are all great. Deathstar rescue/escape is great.
ESB - 8/10: Dark, love story, revelation, bleak ending. Awesome. Just so fond of the original I score this the same.
RotJ - 8/10: Appreciate others wont score this so high but it was my favourite as a kid. Jabba's palace is my favourite part of the trilogy. A feel-good conclusion.
Awakening - 7/10: A decent job (remake), good performances from the new leads and the film we has all been waiting long years for.
Rogue1 - 7/10: I didn't really care for all the new characters who clearly weren't going anywhere but a the film was fine and the Vader ending was 10/10. Never watch Starwars ANH again without watching the last scene of Rogue1 as a lead in!
Last Jedi - 6/10: Fun film, better than he prequel trilogy but too many niggles to be rated as good as Awakenings or Rogue1.
