In my 999th ranked game (and way over a 1,000 games played in total here on Fumbbl) I finally managed to win an official Fumbbl tournament. Even if it's only a Minor, I'm still happy about it. My Wolfbanes managed to win the FUMBBL Minors TW1900 III-3 after last night's final against 9th Squad Bridgeburners.

While I've never been playing a lot in SMACKS and Brawls, I've been participating at times at the Major qualifiers. Most of those attempts were with elf teams, with which I feel the most comfortable. To my own surprise I happen to win my first tournament with a Necromantic team, a team I still have the feeling I don't master completely. Another surprise was the nature of my opponents. I faced 4 agility teams in the tourney: dark elves in the first round, skaven in the second round, wood elves in the third round and again dark elves in the final. I expected to lose at least one of them, after all ball handling of a necromantic team isn't all that good and they aren't the best bashers either. Especially the second round against skaven was very tight, and I expected to lose the game but never gave up and managed to win in overtime.

All in all good to see that there are so many agility teams in the tourneys! I think I'll go back to my elves now to try and grab a second title somewhere!
