I had a C64, the auto-pilot went through the docking procedure in full whilst my mates Toshiba MSX just jumped inside to the trade screen... needless to say I played more Boulderdash than Elite :)
Also Pitstop II, that was awesome for the time :D

I bought a 128k 5 or so years back for retro purposes and it never really kicked off for me. Match Day 2, Skool Daze, Head over Healz off the top of my head were fantastic, creativity at bubblegum prices!

Skool Daze! Great game! Was the follow up Bak To Skool?

That's not a proper Spectrum. It doesn't have keys made from an elephant's foreskin.

Back 2 Skool was the sequel. Jet Set Willy with the colour code sheet!!
Pajamarama and the others as the first rpgs?
Classic times, going to the local newsagents and buying games for firebird games for £1.99

heheh I had the same thought as koadah, that looks positively modern compared to my old Spectrum!

That's a 48k+. The early 'pluses' if you turned them upside down the keys would fall out!
Who remembers copying games and them spending hours tweaking the sound trying to get them to load!

Hell yeah Harvestmouse, I had loads of those bootleg tapes, having a double tape recorder back in the day made you a GOD!
