RNG
Can hardly think of any game (EDIT: With game, I mean different games, not a 'match') where there aren't any complaints about RNG, and that it isn't 'random enough'.

No, I'm not going to complain about it... mostly since I have no clue about it.

... but I wonder if there is any possibility to take the numbers from this dice-rolling-machine. Can't be much complaining then.

I seldom hear complaints about the rng. :O

You would do if you were part of the Swedish community that DT is part of. Any game lost is because of the broken RNG.

There has been wayyyy too many streaks, at least for me, so unless I were to gather everyone's dice rolls, to look for randomness, could just be that I was given the painful end of the stick.

Christer has previously stated that using such machine would worsen the quality of the random numbers. The machine has bias - the dice roll less than random ways when they roll down. The crypto FFB uses is closer to random than that. Also the crypto FFB uses is specifically protected against setting up the random numbers by using multiple sources, among them all players and the physical random usb dongle on site.

I can't believe this blog has gone up to 2.9......the fact anyone thinks they can spot a borked RNG is pretty laughable.

I think that I have had pretty bad dice in 9 of my last 10 games, but I wouldn't dream of making any borked RNG presumptions.

For one person to think the RNG is broken from their own matches is pretty amusing.

Oh, and if you didn't rate this a 1, you shouldn't be playing here. Find a site you trust and a site owner you trust. if there isn't one, make a site of your own. Good bye.

My main point being that I believe people trust dice more than they trust a computer program. Even if they get diced, they know that dice were thrown.

Most don't understand a computer program, but most understand at least one throw of the dice.

Sure you are complaining, or you wouldn't have made this blog. It's a typical I got diced and lost whineafest. Also watch the language. acronyms and misspellings aren't acceptable.

You know; how have you any idea whether the RNG is broken from your own games? Even thinking that is a joke. It's not really a problem if you and your buddy SB think that.

The problem is that you affect new players....thinking 'well maybe there is a problem with the RNG or people can cheat the system here on fumbbl'. Just as you have put the idea in Muktar's head. He looks and thinks 'hey this Don Tomaso is an experienced guy, and if he thinks there's a problem, there must be!'

Unless you take a substantial sample and fine an anomaly there, keep your opinion to yourself.

This was a suggestion, or a possible solution. Not a complaint.
There is a difference, but I don't think you want to see it that way.

I lose a lot of games, and most of them are not dice-related...

I know more about statistic probability than to judge it from one game. Or ten. Of course it feels weird when one gets that fifth double skull in one game... But then again, one don't remember the games when there were none.

It would be interesting to be able to see ones last 10 000 rolls or so, though. We could see the dice before. Any chance of that now? That don't prove much anyway, though.

I spoke to a mate before who complained about the RNG in WoW and in another game (can't remember it now, though)... the discussions there seem to be similar to ours.

Removed my first post, since you are actually one of the good guys here.
I was just surprised at the personal attacks and insulting tone. There was no need for that, unless there is some underlying reason.
