Angie,

It is evident that your work here has become a source of stress in your life. Players come here for fun and for entertainment. To us this is part of the relief of stress in our lives. For you it is the opposite. You feel you are abused and mistreated, underappreciated and overlooked. Yet you toil here for what you have yourself described as 16+ hours daily. You have worked hard here and others have done nothing but take advantage. And before today you were not without a great deal of my sympathy and appreciation.

While other supposed incidents have gone for the most part unquestioned, save by your select few critics, this one is simply and certainly unjust, immature, irresponsible, and may now overshadow years' worth of work in this community's name. Every critic of your moves you have not only proven correct, but you have now multiplied in number as well. You have responded to a childish prank with a childish fit and now you insist that at least two, likely three, unrelated people will pay for it at noon by being banned, and afterwards, 10 more unrelated people will be banned every 12 hours that no one admits to making a little joke at your expense.

Many have personally laid out their appeals to your sense of responsibility and adulthood in the thread you started, but they, not unlike with those qualities I had thought you had, or my respect for you and your purposes here, have gone ignored and left by the wayside. People that have done nothing wrong will be made to pay the price of their fun here so that you can satisfy your own wounded self-esteem.

It is a bit sadly that I, and others, am forced to believe with neither malicious intent toward her nor any uncertainties at all that FUMBBL would now be a better place without Angie. I state this because am positive that there would be no shortage of worthy persons volunteering to help administrate this community in her absence.

It should be noted that there have never been abuses, threats, incidents, nor complaints of this magnitude about any of peikko, Candlejack, Cloggy, Grumbledook, Trog, Tymless, Christer, nor any other of the great people who have volunteered their time to help keep this great site as well as its IRC server running at full steam in the past. For this reason, my sentiments stand whether or not Angie goes ahead with her plans.

There are some that have requested that they be banned along with the others who had nothing to do with (and indeed may yet have no knowledge of) the incident in question. Please add me to this list. This little hobby of mine simply isn't worth all the drama.

But to conclude this post from a much more serious and important perspective than that of us and the enjoyment of our little passtime, if things are as she describes them - that Angie comes here to be mistreated, abused, and underappreciated for 16+ hours a day - then she herself would surely be better off without FUMBBL as well.
