I'm not infuriated by anything written here. And I'm not gonna go down the road of naming certain people as morons or bigots or whathaveyou. Raot can win the namecalling contest because I'm not going there.
I do, however, stand by the statement that indifference in the face of that which can only be described as evil - as Raot puts it, violence, rape, or murder in the name of racism - is most certainly a form of cowardice.
In closing, I must say that racism is racism. I'm as opposed to racism against Jews, or Japanese, or Chinese every bit as much as I am opposed to racism against people of African origin, like myself, because I know what it is like to be the targetted with racism. I'm not dragging anyone into this - if you're a racist against any one of them you might as well be a racist against me, too, because no one race should be discriminated against, period. I am no more or less opposed to racism against my own race than I am of any other. And I will absolutely not turn a blind eye to racism, no matter who it is against, ever.
And if you do, in these modern times, I can only say that I'm speechless.
Speechless, saddened, and disappointed.
