Cancer. Following on from my previous blog my fiance's leukemia is back. It's come back more aggressive than before but they have a couple of things to try, the first being getting more lymphosites (i think thats what they are anyway) from her bone marrow donor in Germany and hoping that they trigger some graft versus cancer disease - think of them as immune cells with dirty player that come in while the leukemia is prone from a block from chemotherapy. Unfortunately that may trigger some graft versus host disease where they start to attack her body as well. Less good.

Anyway enough boring you with technical blah blah blah just needed a kind of anonymous outlet to write some of that down.

Actually, do me a favor. If anyone you know donates blood regularly give them a big hug from me. If they're on the worldwide bone marrow donor registry then give them a kiss and a little extra as well ;)
