Omertà! Home of the families of the Mafia, an all Human league! Strike at your enemies and bring them down! Earn respect for your family, and your team; strike down the Godfather and become the NEW Godfather!

This league has played through most of 2 seasons, and 5 of the original players are still quite fond of it; we would like to play again, some to try to kill Giovanni Montallegro, and, well, some to show just how long he will RULE OMERTA! But we need 3 other people to join in and lead their own family to respect and glory!

Rules are complicated - most of the math will be done by myself, but basically all your positionals are lent to you from another family, and all the linemen are from your own family - whenever a player does something worthy of respect (which is almost anything that garners SPP), then they earn respect both for the team they play on, and the family the come from. So you have to choose between using the more reliable positionals to win games (and thereby share the respect with other families) or use your families linemen (and thereby hog all the respect, but risk more in the game). Additionally, ALL skill choices are chosen by the families player, not the teams player - so you get to choose your linemen skills, but all your positional skills will be chosen by a different player (and again, when choosing skills for a positional, you have to decide - will he get a useful skill, and hopefully earn more respect for your family, or will you choose a less useful skill to try to hurt the team he is on?).
