Cutting Down My Fumbbling
I have decided to cut back on playing BB.
This is not because of any lack of time, RL issues, boredom with the game, freakish overreaction etc.
This is purely down to one thing (2 at the moment but I'll come to that).
I'll be spending less time on Fumbbl for the foreseeable future because I've lost sound on my computer! Do you realise how horrible it is to play the game and not hear the squishy and bashy noises? It is unbearable and I will hardly be on (except to play league games or if I am really bored) until I have sound again.
The 2nd (but temporary) reason is because I have an abscess and my face has blown up like a balloon. I look a bit like a podgy ginger Ian Brown at the moment and it is bloody painful. That coupled with the drowsy painkillers makes for non-enjoyable times.
If I need to play you let me know a time and I'll be on (unless passed out). I can normally play between 21:00 and 00:00 bb time.

...errr 2nd reason is temporary. Meaning you lost sound "forever"..? How is that? Your ears fell off?

2nd reason is more temporary. Hopefully my face will be back to normal in a few days. Then I have to pay for dentist bills, so the lack of sound is going to last a couple of months at best.
