Sorry, we're sold out of Centaurs.
What a couple of weeks for my lil' mutated dwarves. They've been having such a rough time lately...
So yeah they run into this Necromantic team, he has a +ST wolf
with MB and block etc. I'm like "ouch, what a freak!" so any way as the match goes on I did some early damage to a few zombies and actually managed to stop him scoring in the first half(i kicked) like all dead teams though, they're never out of it thanks to regen. My dwarves will pay the price come 2nd half, since I used my apothecary on a niggle my centaur got.
It's the 2nd half where it got messy, by turn 2 his wolf managed to decapitate one of my centaurs, since my Apothecary had already done his job he was outside the stadium lighting up a fag (apparently you're not allowed to smoke inside, unless you're a wizard).By turn 6 I had to score or risk his wolf continuing his rampage on my dwarves.
2 turns in at the kick-off and the minotaur fails his GFI (oops, big mistake and the centaur will pay for it) so yeah the centaur is nicely lined up just missing some relish otherwise we're good to go. Wolf blitzes and kills the centaur (that's one big cigarette the Apoth is having).
So yeah, I have enough money to buy one bull, and in a couple of matches the team is back with 2 bulls. First match with them both, against the same team! I'm not gonna report on it because I played pretty badly then and the bulls deserved to die then, and I know what you're thinking, yes they did both die again, his ST4 wolf now had PO and was using it pretty much every chance he got.

I heard about this the night it happened, since I was talking to FMSTAN in IRC. That's a tough break, losing both bulls to the same coach twice. Good on you for hanging in there and I like your blog entry about it. It's too bad the apothecary union guarantees their members as long a smoke break as they want after 1 service per game. Regardless of whether that service was actually successful or not.
And though I like FMSTAN and have played a lot of fun games against him, those wolves need to DIE!
