You might only understand if you're a Black Box Lizard coach...
(Of, course, that's just me and Hito, right? And maybe Tarabella when his CR needs a fluffer?)
Played a lot of Box lizards. Met a lot of ClawPOMB teams.
I've beaten them by out-bashing them. Sometimes we like to make a habit out of it.
But, today... no bashing. Something else entirely.
This might be the most remarkable game I've ever played.
Never played or seen anything quite like it, and I'm not really sure what to say about, other than I was pleased to win with so few lucky rolls––I think there were really only about 3, but we nailed those 3!
Maybe not every coach is interested, but if you've had Lizards suffer under the claw, it's worth a watch. The blog is just so I don't forget.
(Highly entertaining to watch at high-speed replay!)

As I said, there were a some extremely lucky times–– the catch on turn 9, and the touchback, and it was good I didn't fail any more GFIs. But honestly, I simply didn't roll very many dice that game... while my opponent did off-handedly 1-die-casualty a blodger!
My tactic was: Since my team had very few offensive skills, I couldn't have any chance of making a stand once my Krox was gone, thus... FLEE!!!

I ran away because he had enough clawpomb and tackle to do tremendous damage, and I had no offensive skills. My thought was that if I could avoid as much damage as possible in the first half, I could counterscore and draw in the second. Then... no KO's came back....
