After growing slowly more disillusioned with the Cyanide game, I recently dug out my unused FUMBBL account and decided to give it a go. A chaos pact team was my first choice, since I loved the Chaos All-Stars in 2nd edition, and I was gutted to here that the upcoming Chaos Edition from Cyanide would not contain them. After an aborted attempt to play against chaos dwarfs I was offered a match against Rodders and his halfling team.

I've played several games against halflings with a chaos team before and quite struggled... so I wasn't quite sure how the pact would do. Luckily, things were working well for me and I think any time I hit a ball-carrying halfling I rolled a POW. Add in a treeman which was pretty much rooted for the whole game, and things really did work out well. Was this just one of those games where things went right? Or was it the FUMBBL client seeing my first game, and trying to lure me in, with extravagant dice rolls that will inevitably dry up as I play more??

I can't be certain... but either way, I'm looking forward to getting an hour free in the next few evenings to play my second game, and spamming my account with teams in the meantime.
