This guy's renowned for it. He does it all the time. I read one of his match reports recently that suggested he'd been unlucky in his last 19 matches. Anyway, if he gets over the top and breaks the rules, he should be reported.

All this said, this is naming and shaming.

Most of the RNG denouncers are well below average coaches, which tells you something. My point of view (apart from the facts about the RNG) is how the hell would you know? Sure I have some vile matches, but you'd have to be totally stupid or have an ego problem to even be able to see a problem with the RNG from your own matches.

Another thing (and I've seen a few people who moan about dice do this) is to reevaluate your 'bugged' game a few days after, from a neutral perspective. I'd say 50% of the time review it, will show what a knob you've been by slagging off the RNG.

Bottom line slagging off any RNG be it here, and old one, cyanide without do statistical tests is lame. And I'd prefer you go away and don't come back.

I remember a game where I whined and whined about my dice. At the end I spent ten minutes going through the narrative to find out that I had rolled maybe 2 more 1s than my opponent.

Well, number of 1s is one thing but 1s at crucial times is another. Anyway, it takes a certain amount of mastery in the game to even tell whether you're unlucky or not. If my opponent starts whining about bad luck where, to my best judgment, no bad luck is involved, I might say something once. If he starts to argue, in my experience, argueing back will just make him more angry. And it will frustrate me. So I usually just say nothing.

I have had that moment where I have taken the name of the rng through the mud. i thought we all have at one moment or another. But getting into with another opponent isnt worth it. Just whine a little like everyone else and play another match.

While we have a link to the game up, how is that a legal concession? Clearly out played in terms of Touchdowns? No. Clear Shortage of players, or one sided casualties? No. Gained prior permission from an admin to conceede? Maybe. But if not, why do we have rules if we don't enforce them?

It wasn't meant to be a name and shame - I just happened to be online when the opposing coach made his comment and I thought it was a classy response. SoS - I didn't mean to make you feel bad but if it makes you more positive then I'm glad I posted. I have done my fair share of whining and counting skulls and 1s but it's part of the game we play.

i made a joke team called java.tools.nonrandom.xxx after rolling 16 1's in a row with the old default java prng. i was never really too upset about it but that was just my way of venting the 1s. the old java default prng was known for being pretty terrible in certain applications but whether it effected the outcome of blood bowl much or not is hard to comment.
