My take on that is the mongoose is trapped in that park and they're youngish lions that don't really know what to do. Most likely that mongoose didn't see out the day and was in a very stressed and tired out state. Not a nice video.

The Lions team mate should have up him in his tackle zone for the negative 2 dice even if mongoose kept making those dauntless rolls.
