Well,
the game went well. My opponent was skillful and in all honesty I would have had a much harder game had he not kept rolling 1's at crucial times.
My tactic for the game was to mark his ogres with zombies and golems to keep them out of the game, whilst targeting the snotlings. This worked quite well, as the ogres seldom could do much else than bash the marker, and my opponent was low on snotlings at the end of both halves.
My main goal of the game, besides winning, was to keep
Lule safe from ogre bashing and snotling fouling while still getting as much spp on her as possible. She got a touchdown and a completion in the first half, but got badly hurt by an ogre who dodged and blitzed her in the second half. I could probably have played better there. Due to cursed dices my opponent was unable to capitalise on the chance, which gave me an opportunity to pick it up and score the 3-0 goal with a wight.
My planned skill development for Lule is dodge, block, leap, sidestep/sure hands. Can't really decide on the last one. Some of you argued against leap in my last post, but I think it would be great fun to have a MA8 AG5 leaper.
Lastly, any advice on team development? This is the first time I'm playing in a league environment. I've got 140k in cash now. Get a ghoul and hire the 2 spp loner zombie? What development do you see for the ghoul? They're usually ball handlers in my teams, but here maybe a wrackle ghoul would be preferred?
