2 questions.
1. Why are the next couple of years make or break?
2. You mention bold and ambitious projects yet give no clue as to what they are. Are there projects actually in the works that you can tell us about or is this just campaign talk?

Thanks EA. It's a fair point that "make or break" and "bold and ambitious" are jazzy words for stuff :)
In the next 2 years, realistically if they wanted to GW could produce a new version of BB with completely different rules and clamp down on their IP completely, and if the NAF responded badly that could damage BB (that's the break bit). However, I'm optimistic, and a new box set plus improved BB2 and further Fumbbl/NAF development is the make scenario that I want to work towards.
In terms of projects, the new website, NAF WC4 and new scoring software are the main 3, and I am ideally placed to push on all with all of those.

I would like to see the NAF take control of the rulebook and keep a comission in charge to keep the rules alive and official for all game formats. It doesn't make sense to me that the main organization in charge of a sport has no saying on its rules, and GW forfeited their position long ago.
Also, I believe you should go to the fumbbl forums with your proposals for online BB and how they would benefit fumbbl and fumbblers. There is little overlapping of fumbbl/tabletop communities, and most active fumbblers don't ever get into de NAF forums. A blog post is no place for this kind of discussions either. I wouldn't like to see that an important Blood Bowl community is left aside again in the decision making process of the BB world (again as in Perpetual Play and fumbbl data/feedback was ignored/not asked in the design process of the CRP, which is a ruleset suited for tabletop resurrection and short leagues).
You could invite other candidates to join some fumbbl forum/debate, but that's up to you. I guess you can get good support from fumbbl naf members if you do some campaigning here.

Hi Zakatan, I think I am only candidate (ever?) who has played extensively on Cyanide and Fumbbl, so if you want someone to take the online side into account, then I am your man. The blog post was really to draw attention to the Q&A, and encourage people to visit those (seldom-used) forums - keeping the Q&A there would be the most helpful for everyone!

That was my point. You can draw a bunch of votes if you do some actual campaigning in FUMBBL. I wouldn't generally care, but I believe it'll be good for online environments to have someone who actually plays there high in the NAF.
From here, you decide how to run yout candidacy.
