You are an elfballer and a sodomite.
We all know you are ragingly proud of both.

omg how you been?

Guess everyone has preferred matchups.
Elfballing is fair for both teams at least.
If you notoriously dodge all bashers at all times however I needn't respect that I guess.
60% Elves and 40% Dwarfs on the other hand are surely nothing to be ashamed of ^^
Posted by Jeffro on 2009-09-06 06:29:51
Nothing personal, shadow... but you forgot to include the possibility that the person just didn't want to play you AND wanted to get your goat for booting them from IRC some odd many months ago ;)

I can't get www.spoonyisfat.com to work.

You're an elfballer so anything you say is tainted by the fact.
So shut your face fatty!

I really have nothing to contribute to this conversation other than to admit that I am also a bit overweight.

Don't worry im on his list as well. If it's who I think it is. I wouldn't worry about not playing him, he blacklisted me without playing a single game against me.
Posted by avien on 2009-10-21 20:51:52
I elfball too, why spend 200 games to build a tournament team, when you can do it in 50 and really don't have time to play 200?
Posted by eyeslikethunder on 2009-12-12 08:55:58
well i think he has a point looking at your cripples united
you have played in order of most played first
Dark Elves 35 times
Wood Elves 14
Skaven 14
High elves 6
Elves 4
and couple games each against the other races.
That is Elf bowling in my book.

Dear Deirdre,
Since I played shadow about six months ago, I've been putting on some weight.
However, I'm far more concerned with how contagious elfballing could be. I've found myself avoiding playing using my high elf and wood elf teams. I want to, oh God I want to, but I know that accepting an offer from the first grateful lightweight team that spots me is just too easy to accept...
Three points: first - any coach putting his elf team on the playlist finds it easy to select from a range of potential games. Every coach will try and select an advantageous game. It's remedial to suggest that someone who does is an elfballer. Theoretically, that line of argument would suggest that any high-TR dwarf or chaos team is an elfballer when playing just about any other race.
Second, it is silly to suggest that an elf team should prioritise playing a proportionate amount of bashy teams. While one-off games may well be favourable, I doubt that many elf teams would be well situated LONG TERM to mount any kind of challenge when it comes to tournaments over 175TR. Suggesting they should not will hurt the diversity of races in the high-TR tourneys. I, for one am not in favour.
Third, have you any idea how expensive it is for high elves and dark elves to travel to the Old World to stage frequent matches against orcs and skaven? A boat, coaches, armed guards to get through the mountains, interpreters, negotiators. The list goes on! Or what about the hiring costs for a herd of pegasi? Think that's cheap, do you? Orcs have got Vamps, chaos dwarves, skaven, other orcs, goblins, chaos, dwarves, humans and Khemri within close distance. And with dwarves - every major bashy race on their doorstep! I mean, that's why they've got long-term wealth reserves as a species to draw on - lower overheads!

Elfballing is when you play most of your games elf vs elf. (skavens count too in my book). If its only 50-60% vs elves, i would count him an elfballer if the OTHER teams are mostly:
Humans, vamps, gobboes, halflings.
And that would also mean he's a cherrypicker.
On the other hand, if the rest of the teams are mostly:
Chaos
Chaos dorfs/dorfs
Orcs
Undead
Khemri
Then it's ok.
If he's a bashy team, then he is either a wimp, a cherrypicker, or both, not an elfballer, since elfball is elf vs elf.
If he's a human, vamp, halfling, gobbo, norse, zon... and plays a lot vs elves, then he is a wimp, but much less than with a bashy team. Not an elfballer either.

My elves are at about 20% elves after 10 games. Is that ok?
Or should I be labelled a Chaos picker (3 games) or a Chaos Dwarf Picker (2 games).
Posted by Grim04 on 2011-09-17 23:32:53
Elfballing is practically deciding who gets SPP this game.
Sorry, but when a team (especially one that takes work to win) wants to play... he should be in the same boat. Most likely doesn't have much spp/injured.
Instead of 2+ Pick Up/2+ Throw - TD.
Obviously we care since we have to play against coaches like you.
If your games are over 20% elves, then you're elfballing. I hate dwarves as a race, but I make sure I play them every now and then to make sure I'm not cherrypicking.
