Roll 3- on winnings? Reroll.
It is obvious.

Yes... usually. But is it worth a blog post?

What if you needed a 5 on winnings to afford a key player, like a Wardancer?
In that scenario, I would reroll a 4 :-D

Mhm, not sure if Woodies are the best example there... Throwing away gold is maybe not the best way to go with them...

Ok Wreckage, what if it was the game before a tournament final? :-P

Its always situational, I did it (needed 5+) to go for a replacement NW in this years Lustrian Cup for example.
Posted by Wreckage on 2015-09-13 19:04:01
Did it work?
Posted by Medon on 2015-09-13 19:28:46
I managed to reroll a 6 into a 1. But I admit it was not intentional...

Rating of this blog entry is equal to the expected value of winnings for the people downvoting this.

It is known.

Reroll a 4 or 5 if you have a very high TR and the spiralling expenses are at 50.000 per game or higher. Also count in FAME. FAME 0 and 4 on winnings means 40.000 winnings, if your spiralling expenses are 40.000, probably dont reroll, if they are at 50.000, probably reroll.

not always obvious
context matters

Have yet to come in a situation were deviating from this rule would make sense for me. Although I'm aware of the exceptions, they are incredibly rare. I'd not be surprised if personal feelings and 'thinking about exceptions' more often than not leads others to disadvantages.

What I would say though is;
Why does it give you the option to reroll a roll of 6?
Should it automatically reroll a roll of 1?
Posted by tmoila on 2015-09-14 11:56:48
Probably because ink is expensive and thus writing it out would be pointless.
Bits are free and hence there are blog posts and comments for figuring things out.
Feature requuest: remove reroll option from 6's and auto-rr 1's. Or don't, it's actually satisfying to read you have rolled a 6 and exciting to manually reroll 1.

The no-rr 6 and auto-rr 1 for winnings is something I never considered, good idea.

By the rules you are allowed to RR those. Maybe lets just stick to that if its all the same.
