On the importance on starting when they are young....
Last Saturday was "Claymore" (Edinburgh's annual gaming convention). As my wife was working, and I wanted to go have a look, I had to take my 5 1/2 year old daughter with me...
The plan was to go there for about an hour, catch up with a few friend, then come home to play a league game that I had scheduled.

We found a zombie based participation game and I asked her he she wanted to try (thinking she would get bored after 10 minutes, and that it would provide her with a break in between looking at miniature blisters)...
...
.....
.......
Well, 3 hours and 60+ terminally-dead zombies later (all question regarding whether she wanted to move her guy or shoot zombies were replied with a resounding "SHOOT") we had to stop as the convention was closing. (if you are wondering, I missed my game).

We since had a game of Talisman, which she enjoyed.

As anyone ever worked out a simplified version of BB, that I could teach her? :-D
