Decisions, decisions
Currently I am thinking about using LRB4 or LRB5 for our local BB league.

LRB5 seems to reduce the amount of damage potential from the game (claw was tuned down, dirty player was reduced, aging removed, ...).

I like that the survivability was increased, but somehow it feels that the Blood Bowl feeling will be reduced.

Play both regularly - to be honest there is little real difference. Many of the new LRB 5.0 skills are rubbish anyway, and some of the changes are fine. To be honest, i'd go for 5.0 for a TT league, but that's just my opinion.

went through the same thoughts about my local league....I think LRB 5 is better with a less experienced group while you may want to do LRB 4 if they are hardcore players....

LRB4 all the way! LRB5 sucks. Seriously, it does!

just to let you know , most tourneys are played in lrb 6.0 nowadays ;)

LRB 4 surely will have more droppers, if coaches can't field a full team at the start of a game.

For me, the easiest way to differentiate between the two is that LTB5 was made to allow for new/inexperienced teams to join existing leagues and still be competitive (not get smashed into smithers by all the teams with many more SPP's). The incentive mechanism, and journeymen definitely does that.

LRB4 - if a league had 2-3 season old teams then any new TR100 team wouldnt stand a chance long term.

Thanks for all the great input so far :)

Before even the LRB came out, we were limiting the older teams in some way so that completly new teams would stand a chance.

I liked the mutations better thinking that they are compensating for the lack of armor for instance of the Skaven.

Gotta play some more games after LRB5 before deciding I guess.
