Finally! 25 games in the box with a
Goblin team.
Some things I've learnt:
1) Azure rocks with stunties/everything. I don't. :D 4/1/
20 says that I can't play goblins, and my BWR dropped from in the mid 160's to 140.
2) The saw is better than I thought: No loner and the ability to use RR's makes it good. It can be an effective threat if protected...but the first time it fails to break armour, it's stuffed.
3) The "Troll just ate a goblin" noise is utterly hilarious: "Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom".
4)
Players tend to their team
5) 25 games is WAAAY too long for me. It's taken me about 3 weeks to get through this, with devoted playing. I'll bet again, but I'm not betting 25 games next time. 5-10 is a better number.
6) Look at the teams I played. What diversity problem? Sure, there's one at high TV....at low TV, there's a lovely blend of teams.
7)
Dwarves ain't so tough 100% record!
8) I'm gonna foul Tarabaralla into oblivion next time I play him!
9) Goblins can't stall. I managed a 6 turn stall in only a few games, and an 8 turn stall only once. The problem is, stalling with a fanatic and 2 trolls is easy...until a troll boneheads. Especially if the other troll is already in position. IF it works, it's good though.
10) Goblins like the clawmbpo. I fouled players with clawmbpo(most of them superstars) 8 times for straight stuns. The saw did get a BH on one though!
Right.
Now I have to remember how to play again :D.
EDIT
1) I only played 24 the first time round. Goblin maths ftw!
2) I'm going to go to
Aftermath Tournament in Norwich in a couple of weeks (24th-25th september). You should all go, it'll be a blast!
