Orcs are ok. Nice challenge now with the Claw spam.
But personally I'd go with the races everybody hate:
Dwarfs, with wich you'll learn positioning too and
Amazons... a bit like Saurus with BT, they have movility but not elf grade (and again, quite a challenge if you raise your TV high)

play halflings if u learn to play them winningly then u can play anything!

Yup if you dont mind losing a lot. Then halflings are a great team to learn from. They are mostly what i played with in LRB4 and I learnt a lot with them.
But Orcs are probably the more sensible opion although they are very bashy which makes it easier. You could try with Norse I think they are quite good practice.

Orcs - easy mode

Go and play Nurgle Rotters in LRB4.
Fragile as hell, although have hitting power.
Average ball control, average speed.
You will learn how to live with out the APO.
You will learn when to stand up your players and when not to.
You will learn how to position your players due to M6 is the max.
The more chances, dodges, passes, etc you do, the more likely your players will die.
So a good offense and defense are key to a successful LRB4 Nurgle Rotter team.
But this is CRP, so go with a ag3 team where you dont use the M6 + positionals.

Orcs may be too easy for a player of your experience, at least before high TV when the claws show up. They can generally grind down the field pretty reliably.
For a real offensive challenge, try Nurgle. Before they develop the tools to remove players from the pitch their offense is really bad and you may have to try some riskier running plays to score early if you want to score at all.

I find it easier to score with MA 6

For something like you are suggesting, I'd suggest a "wheel" attack. Move up the middle of the pitch, and pick one edge to press the attack on. If they over-commit to one side, reverse field and seal them off. If they spread out, force the middle. If you're in a rush, you almost have to go up the sideline, and wall off as best you can, then punch a hole to go through. Sauruses are a pain to do this with if they don't have BT, but pretty easy if they do.

For a moment I thought this was a blog entry for how to do a MV6, 1-turn touchdown, which is actually possible.
But since it's not, I recommend you go with Vampires for a fun MV6 team.

Oh, and if it's a racial suggestion you want, consider zons. Orcs only have a little bit of MA6, and don't really use that speed much in their scoring plan. If their blitzers had MA5, it wouldn't change their play style a lot.
Zons are good because they're fairly forgiving of being left in tackle zones, and still have a little elf in them with Dodge. They have throwers and catchers to play a decent MA6 2-turn score attack, and have the option of playing a blitzer/communal running game.

go chaos and develop them the bally way
big hand, extra arms, sure hands, etc for the beastmen, and then maybe 1 or 2 dedicated hitters.
Blanked AG3 and MA5/6 with plenty of development choices is what you are looking for. Also, they suck at low TV due to the lack of starting skills, which need to be compensated with coaching skills and good positioning,
