I'm starting to have enough...
Sadly Fumbbl is starting to lose it's charm. It's just so boring when I make tactically sound decisions but so very rarely get rewarded for them.

It feels like I'm stuck in a loop. I work hard, plan my strategy and bind up opponents to get the ball to the end zone. I play it safe since I know that I always tend to miss those vital GFI's and dodges. But when I score my opponent just responds with walking over me. If it's not my AV 9 guys breaking like paper dolls it's dodgers running through my lines past tacklers and everything. They don't even have to be dodgers. Lately I have had unskilled orc linemen dodging their way out of cages to score the winning TD's.

I have pondered if I might be the worst loser on the planet and simply distort reality to find excuses, but then it wouldn't make sense that my opponents so often agree with my view that they outluck me. I always get the "I know how it feels" comments...I have become the guy that people with bad or average luck can cash in their rebounds on.

Even when I'm lucky I tend to waste it on pointless things. Like having an amazing success landing blocks but never breaking AV. Or the other way around, bashing like crazy but losing the match because the remaining opponents are completly unstoppable.

I haven't won a single time in my last 7 matches and to various degrees I have been outlucked in every one of them. Some just by enough to let my opponent score and win the match in the last turn, in others to the point where my opponents have been baffled and almost ashamed of the outcome.

I know the usual comforts. Don't grow attached to your pixels. See the dice rapes as challenges. But if I would become entirely distanced from the game, what would be the point of continuing it? Just a joyless progression or regression which ends up wasting a lot of my free time to boot.

I will try to cut down on playing time. I even toy with the idea of quitting the game completly. Some of you would be glad to see me go, others I hope would feel the opposite. Most of you would of course not care and will not read this blog either :)
