For the first time in nearly a year I won a tournament. Heavily aided by Nuffle my Gothenburg Geckos pounded the snot out of the Waterdeep Ratskins in the OCC Antipodal Regional Shield 9/08, actually clearing the pitch in the first half against the poor skaven.

It came as a surprise to me that it was such a long time since I won a tournament. I thought that I, very slowly but quite steadily, improved at this game but 2008 has been a bleek year compared to 2007 when it comes to titles.

Perhaps it has been due to less games played in the many League tournaments I participate in. I'm very excited about the coming merge between U and L and hope that it will revive interest in the private run leagues and tournaments, because for me and at least some other members here that's the best part of Fumbbl!
