I'm having such a great week right now, filled with love over the important things in life. Two days ago my brother got engaged with his girlfriend who is just so right for him and on top of that I found out tonight that one of my oldest and dearest friends is expecting a child with his girlfriend. It has just made me realize how beautiful life is and filled me with joy. I smiled to myself all the way home.

Sometimes I let the small things get to me, but it's just so wonderful to now and then get a reminder of what really matters in life. Tomorrow I'm going to have lunch with my brother and make sure to tell him how much he means to me. It was a long time since I did that.

I don't even know why I write this here, but I guess I hope that my happiness might rub off on someone.
