Noob Tactics #3 Scoreing - part one - cages
Hello everyone. Today I will be talking about some basics of scoreing. As we all know scoreing thouch downs is the only way to win a game (however if you won 3 - 0 but have all of your top players dead I'd count that as a loss [unless it's stunties because then death is just a regular part of play]). One basic stratagy for scoreing touch downs is a cage, a cage is used as a defence for the player carrying the ball (picture a five on a die, the middle dot is the guy in the middle carrying the ball and the other four dots are guys suronding him for protection). Another varient of the cage is a partshal or wall cage (picture the top or bottom two guys of a cage being gone and the sidelines being there instead [not advised if someone on the other team has frenzy and is in range of your cage]). In a cage it is best to bash or shed your way up the field untill you are standing in the endzone. However, if you see a great opertunity (like when no one on the other team can reach the ball or your guy with the ball) these stratagies may not be necicary, unless you are trying to stall and score on turn 8 or 16(I'll talk about that some other time). If you are trying to stall and score on turn 8 or 16 then you will definantly want to send some of your guys to your ball carier and form a cage.

a win is a win, no matter how many players you lose.

Carying too much for your players will make you bitter in a game like this

However What I was trying to say is if you lose all of your people that Alow you to win the game and you can't replace them (I mean who earns enogh cash each game to replace more than one [or a few if you are playing stunties] per game).

I don't care how many of my elves die (one famly is on their third generation and he's the only one that lived through their first game) but if one of my dragon wariors decides to take a dirt nap THEN i'm sad. I'm not saying "be a pixle hugger and never play anyone you can't out-bash" but rather "If you win a game but lose your best team, is it realy worth it?" and If you say yes than you must have no logical sense.

Once again I'm not trying to argue I'm trying to state where I stand.
