The very next game I played, with a different team (undead) in a SMACK tourney: 3 SI-mng and 3 RIP...no regen, including on my Tackle, Strip Ball wight that failed a dodge roll.

Nuffle is a complete and utter dick.

Know what you mean - skinks are the weak link, Saurii probably even worse as lack of block makes them useless for the first few games. My new lizards against a new zon team pretty much suffered the same fate last night, down to 4 players at the end through a lack of skills, terrible dodging by the skinks in places that cassed them (and zons never put a foot wrong all game). I also watched a +15-20 TS/TR Lizard team get ripped to pieces by Khemri last night as well. All the zero skill teams are at a massive disadvantage unless you get good dice, good money to replace the niggles and dead, and good spp to skill early.

Just try your best, never concede, and take some of them down with you., even at the expense of the ball and a possible score as let's face it, you're a bit stuffed :(

I often feel the same way about playing Ogres. Yes, you'll win, but what's left coming out the other side might not resemble a team. Depends on how important the win was :( I'd guess from your result the win was all, protecting the players less so? Hard to tell without watching it.
