The imperial city of Remas was unremarkable, except for one thing. They were bankrupt like many others, but it was how it came to financial ruin that was interesting. The city had many petty thieves but they were all extremely dumb. Remas was loosing millions of dollars in rehabilitation programs, because the thieves kept getting caught instead of being good little citizens and avoiding the law. Their prisons were overflowing, their police force exhausted by so many crimes and so many culprits and soon the city had ran out of funds after many seasons of thieves unable to properly dodge the law. Luckily, at the same time a certain André Balrog was looking to create a blood bowl league of his own, and was looking for cities to join him in his endeavor.

But Remas was broke, and so they laughed at his offer. But, a cloaked mastermind named aacrn proposed something to the Remas elder council: He was gonna take care of their debts, provide them with a new stadium and a fresh blood bowl team, and in return the Remas city would have him take care of all their prisonniers, alongside giving him a wide stretch of land to build his team housing on. They would then split the revenue from that blood bowl team 50% for each party, making the Remas city incredibly happy. Somehow, he would take care of both their debts and their criminals at the same time, saving them the prison and rehabilitation money. Aacrn then went on the create the Remas Eagles blood bowl team, with petty thieves as players and murderers as coaches and managers.
This proved extremely effective, and soon the players were playing like real stars, probably due to the fear of their own coaches.
