Sigh, back to square one.....
After making some pretty strong gains in my walking over the last 2 weeks I find myself having to start again :(
Got a shooting pain in my leg on Friday morning and couldn't support my own weight. Luckily I was at the hospital having physio when this happened and I was ushered straight into x-ray. Turns out that 3 of the screws had loosened. Cue more surgery and another couple of days on the ward getting looked after by mainly elderly nurses. 1 plus point is that I get more of the fun pain killers. Sucks big fat hairy rhino balls that all the gains I have made are now lost. Going to see the specialist tomorrow to find out how long I have to wait before returning to physio. Oh the joys.

You are making strides. Despite setbacks... you are making strides. Know that you will be ahead of the game for your next rehab assignment. Furthermore, you are preparing yourself for this surgery, as opposed to your last ;)
