Clearly you need to get your mood organ fixed. :-)

Rated 5 for the electric sheep reference!

5... S... um...
Oh, the "usual 4.45am"... I think you mistyped 'stayed up until' as 'woke up'.

Chainsaw, get some proper nerd education. It's a reference to a Philip K. Dick novel that inspired an iconic Ridley Scott movie starring Harrison Ford.

I thought you were in Japan.
Stop all this bloody moving around - it's hard for us to keep track.

Saudi, ouch. I hope you know a few decent local home brewers. Money must be good though.

you should get in contact with ClayInfinity (UAE) and organise Middle East Bowl!

I don't know danielcollins, sounds like grounds for a friendly stoning to me. What's mouse doing in the Saudis anyway?

I'm here doing consultancy work. The money and opportunity for my C.V. were impossible to turn down.
Yeah, I looked where Clay was/is compared to me (total naivety about the middle east) but it's a definite no.
I have a multiple visa, which doesn't tie me down like a visitor's, however as I'm on a temporary contract, immigration here are most likely to treat me like I am on a visitor's visa if I start wandering. Saudi immigration was......something special.
So any trip outside of Bahrain is a definite no.
The dedication and muslim values here are a real culture shock. As far as I can tell of all the Arab countries, KSA is the strictest. Every Saudi I've met is a devout Muslim, who would never question Allah or what he makes them do.
Examples: Trainees who have to work with electricity seem unperturbed about learning about electricity and what's dangerous or not, as Allah decides when they die.
Nobody seems worried about recycling or global warming as these are controlled by Allah.
Looks like a great T-shirt Lizvis, and I wish I had the balls to wear it, but I love my testicles just how they are (attached to the rest of me).

Sounds like the ol' cashflow is getting some love. You should drop me a line if this consulting is somehow connected to the Nippon. So Bahrain is a decent place then? (Sounds like another name for New Zealand btw)...
