BB2016 - Tabletop League - Round 4
Lizards man. Lizards!

The game played out as you would expect. Rookie lizards don't ball handle well, and Claw makes short work of Sauri. However, the big takeaway from what is other wise a hum-drum game, the cards.

I pulled two, one 'Blackmail' let's me control an opposing player as if it was my own for a turn. And a second that allowed me to automatically win cheering fan, and brilliant coaching rolls.

I'd say the first was broken, but the second was almost worse.

My opponent had FAME +1, this would usually give them a solid shot at winning Cheering Fans, Brilliant Coaching rolls. The two that we rolled, mine, without needing to roll. With a Necromantic squad that's the equivalent of 200k in inducements, or 140k in TV. That's massive. No way to counter, nothing, just hey have a free re-roll.

Blackmail was only slightly less idiotic. My opponent ball-handled with a skink, as you do. He caged up with four Saurus mid-field. My turn comes and I blackmail a Sauri, and walk him to the edge this not only allows me to surf, and Badly Hurt him, but breaks the cage allowing me a 2DB on the Skink with a Mighty Blow, Tackle, Wight. I pop the ball, and cruise to an easy touchdown.

Utter madness.

I can't in good conscience say that the cards, as implemented, are anything less than game breaking.
