Good and Bad news
Finally a win! After nine games without a win, I was starting to go crazy. It's strange how this game can get to you. After having my Skaven horribly mauled by Chaos Dwarfs, I managed to win with my HE against Ogres.

Regarding Skaven, I realized that I should not play them before I get better at this game. After the first half, six players where sitting on the bench instead of on the field. I got two niggling injuries, but I managed to score once, giving me a 1-2 defeat. The mixed luck continued when I rolled for the only skill-up, on one of my blitzers: a double five! Naturally, it was followed by a failed aging roll and a niggling injury. The earnings was only 30 000. I basically gave up on the team. Starting the next game with 9 available skaven, one of them having a NI, was just too much. Ah well. That's blood bowl.

The better news was when I finally won, with my virgin HE. I managed to beat an ogre team to a pulp, including two casualties (one a goblin that stayed dead). I know ogres suffers a lot at 100, but finally overcoming that streak of ties and losses was awesome. Noone skilled up and I didn't earn enough for an apothecary, no less a 12th player, so they are basically still just a new team. But two of my linemen just need a completion to get their skills, and unless some angry Chaos Dwarfs tries to kill them all, we might have a keeper.
