50th ranked game!
So, I played my 50th ranked game, and also my 10th Dark Elf game. And what have I learned?

1) Orcs are everywhere. Really, I haven't been trying to pick any specific team, and in my first 50 games I met 11 orc teams. That's a lot of orc games. I'd be much more OK about it if I didn't get beaten by them so badly, so I guess I understand why they are so popular. But yeah, a little bit of variety would be fun. I rarely see teams that are not some sort of Undead, Orc or Chaos on gamefinder.

2) You always remember the bad things. I feel like I've lost 50 of those 50 ranked games, but the truth is that I have a 49% win percentage. Really, that almost exactly as many wins as losses. But oh, the losses are so much more painful and memorable. I should remind myself more often that things are not as bad as I think.

3) Ten games with a team is a good way to get a feel to them. I don't know for how long I'll continue to create new teams once I reach ten games, but it is a good goal. I've only failed with Skaven this far, as the team horribly died. Other than that, teams are more salvageable than I first thought, and my paranoia of getting teams massacred was unrealistically severe. Again, with Skaven put aside.

4) My lizzies rock. They are the only ranked team with a good record, and they are responsible for almost a third of my victories. I don't know why, since I have no really good players in the team, but those skinks sure are amazing. They are EVERYWHERE! Other than that, my DE teams keep on losing but I still like them. They are probably my two favourite teams this far.

5) I hate Khemri. I play one khemri team, and swear to never play them again. Ten games later, I try to fool myself that it really wasn't THAT bad. And I play them again. And it's just a one hour long agony while I curse the mummies for ever being invented. Just... why do I keep playing vs them?

6) I need a new team, especially as my norse will hit the ten games level in a while. A new elf team would be interesting, or even humans. I'll think about it.

7) Most coaches are actually really nice, and the boring quiet persons are pretty far between. The real assholes are even rarer, and I have only played two or three games this far that was a complete waste of time.
