Take a break and come back? It's ok, you can do it. Worked for me.
Other than that...play new races, or drop some leagues and try to focus on the ones you like best.

Agreed, take some time away. Go a few weeks, or months then come back and try it to see how it feels.

Go do some exercise. Nothing like it to relax the mind.

Well I think two to three weeks away with no FUMMBl will cure you mate...
We all have joyless times and you just need a break thats all.

I've had the same feelings, and I agree with the rest. Just take some weeks off. It's very natural to grow tired of something that you have done for a long time. How many other games have you played since 2004? You'll probably start to miss it after a while. If you wouldn't, well, then you have at least started to break somewhat of an addiction that you didn't find amusing anymore.
I'm pretty sure you will be back just in time to destroy my poor rotters with your ogres in SL ;)

Exercise is no problems with the rugby pre season going on for almost a month. Maybe that break would be good? And in 2-3 weeks the Swedish League will be running again. And if I'll be in Pirogs division again the joy will surely come back! : )

Lolz @ suggesting exercise to someone on an internet game site. You're failing to live up to our stereotype!
