Good article on it here about the demo version they played:

Looks like it could be good.

Haven't they just blown up the warhammer world via 'The end times'?

I miss Dark Omen...

Warhammer: Total War is set before End times.

GW is pretty retarded. They get companies to pay them money to make a prouduct that is pretty much pure advertisment (from GWs point of view). At this point it looks like a great move... Then they go and delete the game in question.
Brilliant.

GW is so far behind where they could have been with a cogent digital strategy.

Or with any strategy what so ever.
Don't get me wrong, I think Warhammer is (was) a great game, and the minis are awesome. But the people in charge seem like they're suffering from mental deficiency.
Anyway, Total War: Warhammer is gonna be amazing. So long live Warhammer! :D

yeah im looking forward to Total War: Warhammer, Mordheim is also comming to pc its currently in early release, and battlefleet gothic : armada is also under development for pc

Battlefleet? Someone take my money...
I'm waiting until Mordheim is out of early access so I can get a decent idea about it.
Just waiting for a decent Nercomunda and I'll retire from work.

Just so you know: Battlefleet Gothic: Armada will be an RTS, not a turn-based game.
Posted by Quaruk on 2015-06-08 15:47:47
i know :) btw mordheim on pc is alot different from the boardgame
Posted by Mr_Foulscumm on 2015-06-08 16:28:50
It's not super different. Movement is handled very differently, but most other things are similar enough. There's also a RNG that we all get to complain about as well! :D

"Just waiting for a decent Nercomunda and I'll retire from work."
True words !
But i'll do with W : TW and Mordheim :)

PC Mordheim is not like the tabletop, you move/act with gang members according to initiative (so not the whole gang), instead of tabletop all gang members move every turn alternatively (player A moves and acts with his gang, then player B with yours, and so on).
It's a great difference actually.
Posted by Quaruk on 2015-06-08 20:21:32
yeah and the fact that every gang now has a bigguy is also a great difference and the whole stat issue is no way near tabletop :) and there are alot other things that differ from the tabletop game

Total Warhammer should be fantastic. total War is such a brilliantly developed series. Hopefully they will do a decent job of maps, diplomacy and knowledge development, but almost certainly the battles will be great. But they haven't dealt with magic before in Total War.
